＜テイスティングノート＞
ベリー、グレープ、フローラル、複雑

このコーヒーの生産者であるニグセ・ゲメダ・ムデ氏は2020年に史上初開催されたエチオピア Cup of Excellenceにおいて、91.04点というスコアで１位に輝きました。
今回ご紹介するロットは、そのニグセさんの2022年の収穫分になります。
ニグセさんは13haの農園で、コーヒーの他に小麦、テフ、大麦、竹を育てています。コーヒーの栽培面積は3haで、生産量はコーヒーチェリーで15tほどです。

2020年のCOE優勝により一躍その名が世界中に知られましたが、それ以前は国際的なマーケットとのつながりを持っておらず、コーヒーを地元の個人バイヤーやECX (エチオピア商品取引所)に販売していました。

味わいは複雑で、ブルーベリーやグレープのような紫系の果実の味わいと、かすかにフローラルなアロマが印象的なコーヒーです。
